COR Meetup app
The native iOS side of the meetup platform — SwiftUI, on the same Supabase backend as the web app.
[ The transformation ]
A community platform that only exists in a browser is one nobody opens on the way to the event. The things people actually do on a phone — check the next session, find who else is going, message someone — are the things a web app is worst at.
Shipped alongside the web app from one project.
[ The hard problem ]
Keeping a native app and a Next.js web app in step on one backend. Profiles, connections, chat and live sessions all have to behave the same on both, which means the schema and the rules live in one place and neither client is allowed its own interpretation.
[ How it works ]
A native SwiftUI app sharing one Supabase backend with the web app: the For You tab with the next event, the knowledge graph and trips shortcuts, plus profiles, connections and chat that behave identically on both.
[ Key features ]
Native SwiftUI, not a web view in a wrapper
One Supabase backend shared with the web app
For You tab — next event, knowledge graph, trips
Profiles, connections and chat at parity with the web
